Use Single mode when you want to resize one image and save the resized copy manually.
Add an image
To add an image, do either of the following:
- Drag an image file into the drop area.
- Click Drop or click to add an image, then choose an image from your Mac.
After adding an image, the app shows a preview, the file name, the original pixel dimensions, and the image format.
Set the new size
- Enter the desired Width.
- Enter the desired Height.
- Leave Keep aspect ratio enabled if you want the app to automatically update the other dimension proportionally.
If Keep aspect ratio is enabled, changing the width updates the height, and changing the height updates the width.
Reset to the original size
Click Reset to Original Size to restore the width and height fields to the image's original pixel dimensions.
Resize and save the image
- Click Resize Image.
- Choose where to save the resized image.
- Confirm the file name and format.
- Click Save.
The save dialog uses a default file name based on the original image name, such as photo_resized.jpg.
If resizing does not start
Make sure you have selected an image and entered a width and height greater than zero.
