Image Resizer saves resized images as new files using the original file name with _resized added before the extension.

Single mode
In Single mode, the save dialog suggests a resized file name automatically. You can change the file name or save location before saving.
Bulk mode
In Bulk mode, Image Resizer asks you to choose a destination folder. Each resized image is saved into that folder using the _resized naming pattern.
Are original files changed?
No. Image Resizer creates resized output files and does not modify the original files during normal use.
If a file already exists
If a resized output file with the same name already exists in the destination folder, macOS or the app may replace that file depending on the save operation. To avoid replacing files, choose an empty destination folder or rename existing resized files first.
