Use Single mode when you want to convert one image and choose the save location manually.
Add an image
To add an image, do either of the following:
- Drag an image file into the drop area.
- Click Drop or click to add an image, then choose an image from your Mac.
After adding an image, the app shows a preview, the file name, the original pixel dimensions, and the current image format.
Choose the output format
In the Output section, open the Format menu and choose the format you want to create.
The default output format is PNG.
Convert and save the image
- Click Convert Image.
- Choose where to save the converted image.
- Confirm the file name and format.
- Click Save.
The save dialog suggests a file name based on the original image name and the selected output format. For example, converting photo.jpg to PNG suggests photo.png.
If conversion does not start
Make sure you have selected an image. The Convert Image button is disabled until an image is loaded.
If the image cannot be saved
Choose a folder where you have permission to save files. If you are saving to an external drive, make sure the drive is connected and writable.
