Solo lets you play Coindrel against the computer at any time, with no account, login, or internet connection.
Starting a Solo Match
- Choose Solo on Home.
- Under Opponent, choose Easy, Medium, or Hard. Each level shows your record against it once you have played.
- Under Your Seat, choose Player 1 or Player 2. Player 1 drops first.
- Choose the Time per Turn and any variants.
- Choose Start Match.
Difficulty Levels
- Easy: looks only at its next drop and often plays loosely. A good first match while you learn the board.
- Medium: looks a few drops ahead, including your replies, and plays loosely less often.
- Hard: the deepest search, for your toughest duels. Requires Coindrel Unlimited.
The computer plays fair. It sees only what you can see: the board, the scores, the exit values, and the locations of any holes. It does not know which holes are connected, the next round's random layouts, or where a timed-out coin would land.
While You Play
The computer thinks off the main screen, so the board stays responsive. Opening the match menu or leaving the app pauses the match and keeps the time left on your turn.
Leaving and Restarting
- Save & Quit to Home, switching apps, or quitting keeps the match. Choose Continue saved duel on Home to pick it up again.
- Restart Match, or starting a new Solo or Pass & Play match over an unfinished Solo match, counts as a loss at that match's difficulty. Coindrel asks before doing so.
- If no coin has been dropped yet, restarting or replacing the match does not count. You can fix a wrong difficulty or seat straight away.
Play Again
After a match, Play Again starts a new match with the same difficulty, seat, and rules. The first drop switches to the other player each time.
Ready for Hard?
After you beat Medium, the results may suggest the Hard computer. Choose See Unlimited to learn about Coindrel Unlimited, or Not Now to dismiss the suggestion for good.
