No Account, Ads, or Tracking
Coindrel does not ask you to create an account. It has no ads, analytics, or tracking SDKs, and the developer does not operate a server for the game. Solo and Pass & Play work entirely on your device.
On Your Device
- Saved match: one paused Solo or Pass & Play match.
- Preferences: sound, haptics, motion, layout, Play of the Game, and Quick Match wishes.
- Match history: your last 100 matches and any you keep, including opponents' display names as shown during the match and the drops needed for replays. Game Center player identifiers are not stored in history. Match history does not leave the device.
- Quick Match rating: a local copy of your rating for each Game Center player who has signed in on the device.
In Your iCloud Account
Your record and statistics are mirrored to Coindrel's storage in your own iCloud account so they appear on your other devices. The developer cannot access this data. Reset Record clears it on all your devices.
Game Center
Online play uses Apple's Game Center for sign-in, matchmaking, invitations, and the connection between players. During a match, the two devices exchange the information needed to play: the rules, drops, scores, and timing. Your opponent sees your Game Center display name.
Your Quick Match rating is published to the Quick Match Rating leaderboard in Game Center, where other players can see it. It is calculated on your device and not verified by a server.
Coindrel never needs Game Center for Solo, Nearby, or Pass & Play.
Nearby Play
Nearby duels connect devices directly over an encrypted local connection, without the internet. While you host, nearby devices running Coindrel can see your device name, a short code, and the rules you chose. Coindrel asks for Local Network access only to find and connect to nearby players.
Purchases
Apple processes Coindrel Unlimited purchases through the App Store. Coindrel uses RevenueCat to check purchase status under an anonymous identifier. Your Game Center identity, match history, and record are not sent to RevenueCat.
Support Requests
Support requests are handled by Zendesk. Include only the information needed to explain the issue, such as your device, OS version, Coindrel version, and what happened. Never send passwords, payment details, or account codes.
Your Controls
- Play Solo, Nearby, or Pass & Play without signing in to Game Center.
- Delete individual matches from Match History.
- Use Reset Record on the Record page to clear your record, statistics, and match history.
- Turn off Local Network access for Coindrel in the system's Privacy & Security settings when you don't play Nearby.
- Deleting Coindrel removes its saved match, preferences, and match history from that device.
