Settings controls Seed Truck's refresh behavior, saved torrent-client connections, authentication data, custom headers, and global transfer-rate limits.
General Settings
Under Updates, Refresh interval controls how often the active torrent list and selected details update.

Automatic polling runs while the app is active. Apple Watch uses its own 10-second interval while active.
Add or Edit a Server
- Open Settings > Servers.
- Choose Add Server, or select a saved server to edit it.
- Enter the name, type, endpoint, and any required authentication.
- Add custom headers if a reverse proxy requires them.
- Optionally choose Test Connection.
- Save the server.
Server names must be unique without regard to letter case. Testing verifies the current fields but does not save them. Saving does not require a successful connection test.
Refresh Servers
Refresh Servers reloads saved server records from Keychain. It does not test the clients, refresh their torrent lists, or change remote settings.
Global Speed Limits
Global limits apply to the selected torrent client's overall download and upload traffic, not to one torrent.
- iPhone or iPad: Open a saved server and choose Global Speed Limits.
- Mac: Select a server and choose Speed Limits....
Enter Download and Upload values in kB/s. Seed Truck defines 1 kB as 1,000 bytes. Use Active Limits to enable or disable each direction.
An enabled limit must be greater than zero. Apply the changes to write them to the remote client. Seed Truck then reloads the values reported by that client.
How Server Data Is Stored
Seed Truck stores each complete server record in Apple's data-protection Keychain. A record includes its identifier, name, client type, endpoint, optional username and password, and optional custom HTTP headers.
The Keychain items are marked as synchronizable for compatible devices using the same Apple Account. Apple controls whether and when synchronization completes.
The refresh interval and torrent sort preferences are stored separately on each device. Torrent lists and details are fetched from the configured client instead of being stored as a Seed Truck library.
Delete a Saved Server
Choose the server's Delete action, review Delete Server?, and confirm Delete.
Deleting a server removes its saved Keychain record, including credentials and custom headers, and discards Seed Truck's cached connection. It does not contact the torrent client, remove torrent jobs, delete downloaded files, or reset the client's global speed limits.
