Game Detail brings a game's catalog information, activity, completion progress, achievements or trophies, artwork, and guides into one page.
Game Information
Depending on the provider and the data available, a game can show:
- Cover and hero artwork
- Title, provider, and console or system identity
- Description and genres
- Release date or provider release text
- Completion counts and last activity
- Gallery artwork
- Saved guide links
Some imported backlog records begin with only basic metadata. Opening the detail page can request additional catalog information. Choose Refresh Game for a targeted catalog and achievement update.
Achievement and Trophy Sections
Achievements are divided into Missing and Earned. Each row can include its name, description, icon, earned date, rarity, grade, provider points, or other provider-supported information.
Hidden achievements can remain hidden according to the provider's data. A provider with no achievement set can show a successful empty state instead of an error.
Provider Details
Steam
Steam provides achievement definitions, earned state, earned dates, icons, and the sorting choices supported by the available data. Steam titles normally display a flat achievement list without PlayStation-style add-on groups.
PlayStation
PlayStation trophies can show Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum grades, rarity, and trophy type. Titles with multiple trophy groups show Missing and Earned first, then groups such as Base Game and provider-named add-ons. Completion includes all required groups.
RetroAchievements
RetroAchievements preserves the console or system represented by each game. Its detail page can switch between Completion and Mastery presentation:
- Completion: Casual-inclusive progress and earned dates. This drives the normal Done automation.
- Mastery: Hardcore progress and earned dates. A fully mastered game shows Mastered without creating a separate lifecycle status.
Xbox
Xbox can show per-achievement Gamerscore and separate modern and Xbox 360 achievement data when the provider supplies it. Xbox Gamerscore can be used as an achievement sort field.
Achievement Sorting
GameGoblin shows only the sort choices supported by the provider. Common choices include Alphabetical and Date Earned. PlayStation can additionally expose Rarity and Trophy Type, RetroAchievements can expose provider-supported rarity sorting, and Xbox can expose Gamerscore.
The sort field and direction selected in Game Detail are temporary for that page. Settings stores the default achievement sort separately for each connected platform. Changing a detail view does not rewrite the Settings default.
Game Detail Layout
GameGoblin Pro lets you customize the global order and visibility of these logical blocks in Settings > Customize > Game Detail:
- Hero Image
- Game Details
- Completion & Activity
- Wishlist Status
- Achievements
- Information
- About
- Gallery
- Guides
Some blocks appear only when relevant to the current game. Hiding a block changes presentation only; it does not delete data or stop synchronization. Choose Edit before reordering, and keep at least one logical block visible.
Manual Status and Ignore Actions
Use the Game Detail action menu to move a game between Backlog, Now Playing, and Done or to Ignore and Restore it. Wishlist membership remains controlled by the connected provider and cannot be manually added from Game Detail.
