Settings Pages
General
General contains app-level options and the data-management area, including Reset All Data.
Accounts
Accounts lists connected providers, account names, Connect actions for missing platforms, re-authentication when needed, and Disconnect actions.
Sync
Sync shows each platform's play, library, achievement, and Wishlist phase status when supported. Expanded status rows can show progress, duration, estimated time, counts, awaiting details, last success, and recovery actions. It also shows iCloud account and setup health.
Customize
Customize contains Library, Home, Game Detail, and achievement-default controls. Pro presentation changes are synchronized through iCloud. Choose Edit before reordering rows.
Notifications
Notifications controls the device-local release-reminder preference and shows whether system notification permission is available.
Help
Help links to the GameGoblin Help Center, the support request form, and the external Privacy Policy. About shows the GameGoblin version.
iCloud Synchronization
When devices use the same Apple Account and iCloud is available, GameGoblin synchronizes the connected library, platform accounts, game details, achievements, guides, and supported presentation preferences.
Library section layout, Home layout, Game Detail layout, Library sorts and filters, and provider achievement defaults can synchronize. Delivery may take time, especially after a new device is set up or an Apple Account changes.
Automatic refresh cadence, sync checkpoints, notification authorization, and release-reminder enablement remain device-local.
Disconnect a Platform
- Open Settings > Accounts.
- Choose the account's Disconnect action.
- Review the warning that the platform's games will be removed.
- Confirm Disconnect and Remove Games.
Disconnect removes that platform's games and account, synchronized provider credential, sync checkpoint, registered service, statuses, issues, and platform-owned reminder requests. It does not remove other platform accounts. CloudKit propagates the removal to other devices using the same iCloud account.
If a disconnect fails, GameGoblin preserves retryable state and reports the failure. Do not assume a partial operation completed; review the displayed recovery action.
Reset All Data
Reset All Data is a destructive, app-wide action. It removes GameGoblin's app-owned local and private iCloud library data, gaming platform accounts and credentials, synchronized presentation preferences, sync checkpoints, reminders, caches, and in-memory provider sessions.
Reset does not remove your external Steam, PlayStation, RetroAchievements, or Xbox account. It also does not cancel App Store purchases or remove RevenueCat purchase history, and provider-owned system-browser cookies remain outside the GameGoblin reset.
Use Reset All Data only when you intend to start GameGoblin from an empty state. If the operation encounters a required cleanup failure, GameGoblin keeps the reset retryable instead of reopening stale data.
Customizing Library and Home
GameGoblin Pro can show, hide, and reorder Library sections and Home sections. iOS uses native Edit mode. Mac has an equivalent Edit and Done control. Ordinary dragging does not reorder rows.
At least one Library section and one Home section must remain visible. The selected Library section falls back to another visible section if it is hidden.
Customizing Game Detail
GameGoblin Pro can show, hide, and reorder the global Game Detail blocks. Conditional blocks appear only when relevant to a game. Hiding a block changes presentation only and does not delete the underlying game data.
Support
Choose Settings > Help > Submit a Support Request. The form includes the app and platform context. Active Pro access can include GameGoblin's anonymous RevenueCat customer identifier to help with purchase support. Free, inactive, and unknown access does not include that identifier.
Do not include passwords, passkeys, API keys, refresh tokens, or private CloudKit data in the request.
