Home is GameGoblin's connected-app dashboard. It gives you a quick view of tracked unlocks, lifecycle totals, connected platforms, and games you are currently playing.
Opening Home
After at least one gaming platform is connected, Home is the default destination. On iPhone and iPad, use the Home and Library tabs. On Mac, Home appears above the Library sections in the sidebar.
Tracked Unlocks
Tracked Unlocks is the total number of earned achievements and trophies represented by your tracked game records. Separate records from different platforms are counted separately. Ignored games continue to contribute to this lifetime-style total because ignoring changes presentation, not the underlying record.
Lifecycle Summary
Home provides direct actions for:
- Now Playing: Games with recent provider play activity or a manual Now Playing status.
- Backlog: Imported games that are not currently being played or completed.
- Wishlist: Games currently present in a supported provider wishlist.
- Done: Games marked complete manually or by the completion automation rules.
Ignored games are not counted in the visible lifecycle totals and do not appear in Continue Playing. Home follows the configured Library section order for the lifecycle actions, but Ignored is omitted from that row.
Provider Cards
Each connected platform has a provider card with its account identity, avatar when available, and a provider-native metric:
- Steam Level
- PlayStation Trophy Level
- RetroAchievements points
- Xbox Gamerscore
A metric can be unavailable or stale when the provider does not return it. A temporary metric failure does not prevent the rest of the library sync from completing.
Continue Playing
Continue Playing shows Now Playing games ordered by most recent provider activity. Ignored games are excluded. Each card prefers hero artwork, falls back to cover art, and shows platform or console identity and normalized achievement progress when available.
Select a card to open the game's detail page. Use the Library when you want to change status, ignore a game, filter a section, or browse the complete collection.
Customizing Home
GameGoblin Pro allows you to show, hide, and reorder the Home sections below the fixed account header:
- Summary
- Your Accounts
- Continue Playing
Open Settings > Customize > Home. Choose Edit before reordering. At least one Home section must remain visible. Losing Pro temporarily shows the default layout without deleting your saved Pro arrangement.
Syncing from Home
Use the Sync control in the Home toolbar for a full manual sync. The request is retained if an iCloud or account safety check is still completing. The Home provider cards show a syncing indicator while the pass is running.
For detailed phase progress, awaiting details, issues, and recovery actions, open Settings > Sync.
