GameGoblin lets you discover and save game guides from supported guide catalogs, then open them in your browser from Game Detail.

Supported Guide Sources

Steam Community guides

For Steam games, GameGoblin requests available Steam Community guides for the game's app identity and displays them in a native picker.

PSNProfiles guides

For PlayStation games, GameGoblin resolves the game's PSNProfiles identity and loads the available game-specific guide page through a browser-backed loader. Results are filtered to the selected game when the site supplies enough identity information.

PSNProfiles may be temporarily unavailable, may require a browser challenge, or may have no guides for a game. An empty result is not proof that the game itself is missing.

Custom links

You can save a custom guide URL when the native picker does not contain the guide you want or when a provider has no native guide catalog.

Find and Save a Guide

  1. Open a game in Game Detail.
  2. Open the Guides section or choose the guide action.
  3. Choose Find Steam Guides, Find PSNProfiles Guides, or the custom-link action when available.
  4. Review the title and source of each result.
  5. Choose the guides you want to save.

You can save multiple guides for one game. Saved guides are stored with the game and synchronized with the rest of the GameGoblin library.

Open or Remove a Saved Guide

  • Choose a saved guide to open it in the system browser.
  • Use the guide's delete action to remove it from GameGoblin.
  • Deleting a saved link does not delete the guide from Steam Community, PSNProfiles, or another website.

Why the Picker Has No Results

  • The provider may not publish guides for that game.
  • The provider's identity search may not resolve the title.
  • PSNProfiles may be temporarily blocked, challenged, or unavailable.
  • The game may be a different edition or platform from the guide listing.
  • The provider may have changed its page structure.

When the picker is empty, use the custom URL action to save a known guide. If PSNProfiles repeatedly fails for every game, wait and try again later before submitting a support request.

Guide Layout

GameGoblin Pro allows the Guides block to be shown, hidden, and reordered with the other Game Detail blocks. Hiding the block does not delete saved links or prevent a later provider refresh.

Guide search, saved links, and custom URLs are available without GameGoblin Pro.
