Notes let you keep extra information with an item, such as where you found it, when to use it, or anything else you want to remember.
Adding or Editing a Note
- Open an image from the main Vault grid.
- Scroll to the Notes section.
- Tap the field labeled Add a note... and enter your text.
- Finish editing or leave the Detail View. Your note saves automatically; there is no separate Save button.
To change a note, return to the same field and edit its text. To remove it, delete all of the text.
Keeping Notes Safe
- Notes are included in GIF Vault backup files.
- GIF Vault Pro users can sync notes with iCloud.
- Deleting an image also deletes its note.
Note: Notes are not included in Vault search. Add tags to an image when you want to find it using the search bar.
