GIF Vault on macOS shares the same collection, Detail View, tags, notes, backup, and iCloud Sync features as the iPhone and iPad app, with controls adapted for a Mac.
Adding and Moving Images
- Click Add (+) to open the file picker directly. Select a supported GIF, image, or video file. Video conversion requires GIF Vault Pro.
- Drag supported media from Finder, a browser, or another app and drop it on the Vault window to import it.
- Drag an item from the Vault grid or its Detail View into another app or Finder to use it there.
Copying and Sharing
Right-click an item in the grid to copy it to the clipboard. Open its Detail View to access Copy, Share, and Delete.
Settings and Help
- Choose Settings... from the app menu, or press Command-Comma, to open Settings in a separate window.
- Use the Help menu to open Documentation or submit a support ticket.
Platform differences: Biometric Lock is available on iPhone and iPad, not Mac.
